Experience a reworked Singed and the new Showdown mode in Wild Rift Patch 5.3c.

Welcome to patch 5.3c. Highlighted by reworks to Diana and especially Singed, this patch also includes a new ARAM experience, a new game mode, new events, and finally your regularly scheduled balance updates.

CHAMPION CHANGES

DIANA

We adjusted Diana's ultimate, to boost the combo potential among her abilities, so she could use them in a more flexible manner.

Moonsilver Blade

  • [Removed] Casting an ability will allow the next 3 basic attacks to gain bonus attack speed

  • [New] Casting an ability will gain bonus basic attack speed in 4s

Moonfall

  • [Removed] Hold to charge, release to cast the ability

  • [New] Summons the moon for up to 1s, triggering Moonfall Glow when the charge is complete. Diana can move and cast abilities and spells while charging up

  • [New] Click again to stop charging and trigger Moonfall Glow

  • [New] Moonfall Glow: dealing (125/175/225 + 40% Ability Power) to (250/350/450 + 80% Ability Power) magic damage based on charge time and slowing targets by 20% for 2s

SINGED

We adjusted Singed’s ability mechanism and boosted his ability performance, so he can play a more proactive role in teamfights. These Singed changes will hit the Rift on Dec 19th 00:01 UTC.

Noxious Slipstream

  • [New] Add a new shield effect performance when granted with movement speed bonus

Poison Trail

  • [New] Add a new potion bottle effect performance on Singed while activating Poison Trail

  • Base damage: 20/30/40/50 → 30/40/50/60

Mega Adhesive

  • [New] The adhesive explodes on landing, dealing (60/90/120/150 + 35%Ability Power) magic damage to targets in the area

  • Cooldown: 13/12/11/10s → 11s

Fling

  • [New] Raises his shield and dashes toward the target. If he hits the target, he flings them behind him, and enemies will be knocked aside in his way

  • Damage bonus: 5/6/7/8% target’s Maximum Health → 6/7/8/9% target’s Maximum Health

  • [New] Dealing up to 500 damage to non-champion targets

Insanity Potion

  • [New] Drinks a potent brew of chemicals, gaining buffs and granting 30% of the buffs to the nearest allied champion

  • [New] While the potion is active, it applies 40% Grievous Wounds

  • [New] Add a new halo effect under Singed while the potion is active

  • Attributes boosted: 30/55/80 → 40/70/100

  • Health and mana regeneration: 6/13/20 → 15/20/25

  • Duration: 18s → 20s

ORIANNA

We boosted the damage of Orianna's passive and Command: Attack in early and mid phases, so she can deal more damage to her enemies. We also increased the damage of her Ult, to improve her highlight moments in teamfights.

Base Stats

  • Base health: 530 → 570

Clockwork Windup

  • Basic attacks attached with bonus damage: 5 + 3 per Level + 15% Ability Power → 10 + 3 per Level + 15% Ability Power

Command: Attack

  • Mana consumption: 30/40/50/60 → 30/35/40/45

  • Base damage: 60/100/140/180 → 60/105/150/195

Command: Shockwave

  • Damage: 200/275/350 + 75% Ability Power → 250/350/450 + 85% Ability Power

MAOKAI

Maokai's powerful health regeneration and crowd control allow for very strong mid to late game teamfighting. We adjusted his passive and Twisted Advance to give his enemies some room to get rid of him.

Sap Magic

  • Health regeneration: (2~30 + 4~12%) self Maximum Health → (2~30 + 4~10%) self Maximum Health

Bramble Smash

  • Bonus Damage: 2/3/4/5%  target’s Maximum Health 2.5/3/3.5/4%  target’s Maximum Health

Twisted Advance

  • Cooldown: 13/12/11/10s → 14/13/12/11s

MORDEKAISER

Mordekaiser can easily oppress his enemies during laning phases, making it challenging for his enemies to counter back. We adjusted some of his stats so Mordekaiser needs to be more careful in lane.

Base Stats

  • Basic health: 660 → 630

Darkness Rise

  • Bonus damage dealt by basic attack: 40% Ability Power → 30% Ability Power

Death's Grasp

  • Basic damage: 70/90/110/130 → 60/80/100/120

Realm of Death

  • Cooldown: 90/80/70s → 100/85/70s

PYKE

As a support champion, Pyke is not performing well in duo lane. We improved his crowd control abilities to make it easier for him to take down his enemies.

Bone Skewer

  • Cooldown: 9.5/9/8.5/8s → 10/9/8/7s

  • Movement speed lowered by charging: 20% → 15%

Phantom Undertow

  • Duration for stunning: (1.25 + 1% armor penetration)s → (1.5 + 1% armor penetration)s

LUCIAN

We decreased Lucian’s damage to match the value of other marksmen.

Lightslinger

  • Damage of the second bullet: 40/55/70% Attack Damage (increased by level 1/6/11) → 40/52.5/65% (increased by level 1/6/11)

  • Damage of Vigilance: 20 + 20% Attack Damage → 20 + 10% Attack Damage

Piercing Light

  • Base damage: 100/145/190/235 → 90/135/180/225

XIN ZHAO

We nerfed the burst damage from Xin Zhao, better positioning him as a fighter and leaving more time for his enemies to react.

Wind Becomes Lightning

  • Base damage of the first phase: 50/60/70/80 → 40/50/60/70

  • Bonus damage of the second phase: 80% Attack Damage → 75% Attack Damage

TALON

It was too easy for Talon to gank enemies in early phases of the game. We nerfed some of his cooldowns while making sure his damage was not impacted. He will still be lethal, but his enemies can catch a breath from his endless assault.

Noxian Diplomacy

  • Cooldown: 6/5.5/5/4.5s → 7/6.5/6/5.5s

Shadow Assault

  • Cooldown: 60/50/40s → 70/60/50s

LEE SIN

As a fighter jungler, it’s a bit hard for Lee Sin to survive in teamfights. We buffed his survivability so he could have more time to deal damage and more room for mistakes.

Base Stats

  • Health per Level: 105 → 112

  • Base armor: 35 → 40

Safeguard

  • Base shield: 60/120/180/240 → 70/130/190/250

MALPHITE

Tank Malphite was underperforming, we adjusted his stats to position him better as a tank champion. To do this we nerfed his magic damage, but buffed his damage to surrounding enemies, and increased his damage scaling with armor.

Seismic Shard

  • Damage bonus: 50% Ability Power → 45% Ability Power

Thunderclap

  • Armor increased: 20/25/30/35% → 25/30/35/40%

  • Damage of the first basic attack:30/50/70/90 + 40% Ability Power + 30% armor → 40/60/80/100+40% Ability Power + 40% armor

  • Damage bonus for following basic attack: 20% Ability Power + 15% armor → 20% Ability Power + 20% armor

Ground Slam

  • Bonus Damage: 50% Ability Power + 35% armor → 45% Ability Power + 45% armor

IXTALI SCORPION

We nerfed Ixitali Scorpion’s pushing and damaging abilities. While it still serves to push, enemies will have more time and better chance to counter it.

  • Damage dealt to turret: 175% → 125%

  • Damage dealt to champions: 100% → 50%

NEW HEXTECH AUGMENTS

  • Mad Scientist: Reduces size and greatly increases Movement Speed and Ability Haste.

  • The Brutalizer: Reduces size and greatly increases Attack Damage and Armor Penetration.

  • Giant's Adversary: Reduces size and increases damage based on size difference.

HEXTECH AUGMENT ADJUSTMENTS

Dual Wield

  • Attack speed and its upper limit increased 80% → 100%

Thrust Punch

  • Cooldown: 2s → 1s

Earthwake

  • Damage: 5 per Level + 30% Bonus Attack Damage + 15% Ability Power → 8 per Level + 48% Bonus Attack Damage + 24% Ability Power

Suction Punch

  • Cooldown: 25s → 10s

Mystic Punch

  • 0.8s ability cooldown reduced by each basic attack → 1s ability cooldown reduced by each basic attack

Frost Wraith

  • Cooldown: 8s → 5s

Executioner

  • 10% bonus damage → 15% bonus damage

Don't Blink

  • 0.6% damage boosted with every 10 movement speed → 0.8% damage boosted with every 10 movement speed 

Deft

  • 30% bonus attack speed →  40% bonus attack speed

Uppercut Punch

  • Casting an ability gains 30% bonus attack speed and 20 bonus physical damage for 3 empowered basic attacks → Casting an ability gains 100% bonus attack speed and 30 bonus physical damage for 3 empowered basic attack

Thread the Needle

  • Armor penetration and magic penetration 20% → 30%

Champion Balance

  • Morgana: Damage dealt: 90% → 80%

  • Teemo: Damage dealt: 95% → 85%

  • Tristana: Damage dealt: 100% → 95%

  • Janna: Damage received: 105% → 115%

  • Katarina: Damage received: 85% →75%

  • Aatrox: Damage received: 85% → 75%

  • Senna: Damage dealt: 90% → 100%

  • Lee Sin: Damage received: 80% → 70%

NEW GAME MODE: SHOWDOWN

With Arcane Season 2’s finale, we have a new limited time mode: Showdown. All players can choose an ultimate item immediately at the beginning of a game, and unlock their powerful effect as games progress. Showdown launches on December 6th UTC+0.

Chemtech Exoskeleton (New in Showdown)

Take vital chances to be immune to death and boost your damage, regenerating large amount of health, time to turn the tide.

  • In the Balance: Upon taking lethal damage, become immune to death for 3s (1s for ranged champions). During this period, getting champion takedowns restores 30% of your max Health and resets In the Balance's cooldown. (60-45s cooldown)

  • Overcharged: Increases damage by 10% plus an additional bonus based on missing Health. Total bonus is capped at 25%.

Shimmer (New in Showdown)

Ignore the terrain to move freely, strike your enemies at an unexpected position, and get away after harvesting their souls.

  • Form Shift: 3 second(s) after leaving combat, you gain Phantom Stride, which lets you ignore obstructive terrain when moving. Upon getting a takedown, you gain Phantom Stride which cannot be interrupted, and a 30-60% Movement Speed bonus (scales with level) for 3 second(s).

  • Brutal Enhancement: Harvest 1 Soul(s) and deal bonus adaptive damage (30 to 120 + 15 × number of Souls + 20% bonus Attack Damage + 10% Ability Power) to enemy champions below 50% Health. Champion takedowns refresh cooldown.

Pow-Pow & Fishbones (New in Showdown)

More basic attacks, faster movement speed, and a bonus every third attack.

  • Supersonic High: Gain 1.6-10% Attack Speed (increase with level) and 4 Movement Speed per attack on an enemy champion, stacking up to 15 times (9 times for melee champions).

  • Ambidextrous Shot: Every third attack launches an additional attack.

Echoes of the Heart (New in Showdown)

Choose it when you can grant buffs to yourself or your teammate, and enjoy the unexpected powerful effect.

  • Amplified Crescendo: Buffing abilities additionally buff 2 nearby allied champion

  • Choral Song: Increases shield strength and heal potency by 100%

Warden's Power Shield (New in Showdown)

Flip a coin for more sustainability, damage reduction and ignored penetration make you survive longer in teamfight!

  • Verdict: Take 30% reduced damage and toss a coin every 5 second(s). If it lands on heads, you heal for 15% of your max Health. If it lands on tails, a lightning bolt strikes at your location, dealing 10% of target’s max Health as true damage to nearby enemies.

  • Iron Law: Armor Pen and Magic Pen are ignored when taking ability damage.

Hextech Arm Cannon (New in Showdown)

What random effect will you get? Bonus cc, true damage or doublecast?

  • Hextech Six-Shooter: After casting an ability, your next ability gains on-hit effects: 40% chance to apply crowd control effects that last 1s for 5s, 40% chance to deal 25% bonus true damage for 5s, and 20% chance to Doublecast for 10s. (5s cooldown)

  • Bejeweled: Damaging abilities can Critically Strike, gaining bonus Critical Rate based on the number of upgraded items you have. (20% + number of upgraded items × 7.5%)
